Kathleen Ryan (Clute) (the PMTNM 2008 commissioned composer) has completed composition of Verbs, Book 2, a set of 12 piano preludes for left-hand alone, to be premiered by SFMTA member Keith Snell at the PMTNM conference, Friday, November 14, at 7 pm, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Los Alamos.
Jacquelyn Helin will perform a solo recital at St. John’s College, Friday, November 14, at 8 pm, in the Great Hall, Peterson Student Center. Her program includes the Chromatic Fantasy and Fugue by J.S. Bach; the Piano Sonata by Aaron Copland; the Fantasies, Op. 116 by Johannes Brahms; and selections by Frederic Chopin. Tickets are available at the door and are $20 for adults, and $5 for students and children.
Carol Snell-Cyr is playing organ & piano at Christ Lutheran on November 16 and November 23.
